Meet Charlie & Henry

Charlie Hubbard Carnegie Mellon

Charlie is a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University double-majoring in Statistics & Machine Learning, with a 4.0 GPA. He grew up in Austin, attending Trinity Episcopal School before graduating salutatorian from St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, where he scored a 1570 on the SAT. At St. Stephen’s, he built hands-on STEM projects including a self-driving RC car, a model rocket, a robotic head, and a Rubik’s-cube-solving robot. He’s especially interested in the intersection of sports and technology, and outside the classroom he’s a competitive golfer.

Henry Hubbard St. Michael’s senior

Henry has captained his school robotics team since 2023, placing 6th and 8th nationally. He is building an autonomous drone for search-and-rescue style missions, and the school picked him to teach its own robotics course. He also built a home recording studio, plays bass in a band releasing music on Spotify, and placed 2nd and 3rd nationally on the National Spanish Exam.
